  KID's YOGA bilingual class  

12:00-12:30 PM

This is a yoga class that is designed specifically for children. It includes poses to increase strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness. In addition, their sense of calmness and relaxation improves. This class theme will be “Happy Energy Yoga” where students will move through poses experiencing different levels of energy and incorporating emotions, sensations and the environment around them.

Esperanza is a 200-Hr RYT, Yoga Walls Certified, Yin and Restorative Yoga and Chakra Yoga (Niguma Series) certified teacher and Kids Yoga Teacher. She loves nature, art, music and loves children because of their energy, honesty and originality. She loves her family too. She was a dancer for over 10 years in Mexicali. Seeking inner peace she found yoga. She is a preschool teacher and worked at a Montessori school for over 10 years and her experience has been with children 2 to 4 years old. She was also a ballet teacher for babies, jazz and contemporary dance.

KID's YOGA: California yoga adventure

 Come travel with us on an imaginary yoga adventure through California! We will practice fun
yoga poses, sun salutations, breathing and relaxation techniques while exploring our state from
the beach to the mountains and back!

Lindyn Haney, RYT, RCYT, began her yoga journey in 2011. After seeing the benefits of yoga in
her own children, she became passionate about sharing the teachings of yoga with students of
all ages. She completed the Yoga Rascals Children’s Yoga Teacher Training in 2018 and has been
teaching with the Yoga Rascals team ever since. In addition to kids yoga, Lindyn teaches vinyasa
and stand-up paddle board classes.

Yoga Rascals is a mobile yoga company serving San Diego families since 2007. A team of
dedicated teachers offers yoga classes for kids, yoga summer camps, after-school programs, and
teacher trainings as well as hatha yoga slow flow classes for adults. Yoga Rascals’ classes for
children are imaginative, creative and, most importantly, lots of fun!

"Under the sea" KID's YOGA

A fun class where kids go through a journey under the sea (perfect for practicing on the beach!). Come along and embark on a journey with Squishy the Fish as he goes from the beach to the ocean and back. We will move through fun yoga poses, breath work and everything movement, dancing and singing in between!

If you haven’t met Janel, she started her journey at Namaste Fitness studio as a student, then turned teacher trainee in 2020 amidst the pandemic, became an instructor and now she’s back as part of the staff.

She’s smart, sassy and sweet, known for her non-judgmental and compassionate approach to teaching yoga.

She started doing yoga in 2005 and 16 years later she has become more in tune with her body, reduced stress from work and every day life and increased her energy levels.

She teaches Vinyasa, Hatha Yoga, Yin and Restorative Yoga, Kids Yoga and meditation and Sound Healing as well.

Kid's chakra workshop

Through art and crafts children will be introduced to the 7 mayor chakras and receive an affirmation that goes with each one that they will be able to practice and take home as a tool in their journey. 

Catalina is a practitioner of Ancestral Medicine, Reiki Master, Sound Healing Artist, Certified Yoga Therapist, and devoted mother of three beautiful girls. Catalina currently offers crystal bed healings, 1-on-1 coaching, and a monthly San Diego based women’s circle. Her mission is to empower people to access their own divine wisdom by holding a space of unconditional love.

A fun class that includes Yoga moves and Hula Hoops!! Kids will practice moving their bodies through mindful expressions and incorporate the hoops as part of their expression. We use the hoops to make obstacle courses, use them as props and even to create dances and stories! You can bring your hoop if you have one or borrow one here! We stretch, we build strength and we practice breath work and yes, even Savasana with the hoops!

Connie is a school teacher as well as s Kids Yoga teacher and also a Fit 4 Drums certified instructor. She has her own online school, Catalyst Academy that she started when the pandemic required children to learn from home. She has 3 kids and a baby granddaughter. She loves tortoises and has a few as pets! She has been a teacher for over 35 years. She learned how to hula hoop to impress her students and soon discovered HoopYogini. After becoming certified in HoolaFit and HoopYogini, she incorporated these methods into an awesome, fun kids yoga class!
