ABOUT VENDING: The vending area is free and open to the public. It is located in the center of the town of Imperial Beach (30,000 residents) on the grass in front of the famous IB Pier. This is also the center of the yoga festival as the main stage will be right on the beach behind the vending area. This means shoppers will be festival-goers and locals to the town just walking by to check out the vending area. Although nothing is guaranteed we are anticipating at least 5,000 people over the two days. Typically, our vendors have minimum 5X return on their investment over the course of the year and 75% of our vendors come back year after year.

Loitering and soliciting of business is not permitted in Imperial Beach. In order to sell or advertise any business in Imperial Beach at any time, you must have a Imperial Beach Business License. Because SDYF has an event permit, only SDYF can register businesses advertising at SDYF: costs associated with these business license vary from $25-$100 per day. An IB Business License is covered in the cost of vending only and also restricts other businesses not associated with SDYF from advertising or selling at the event.
